The Safe Quality Food (SQF) Program is a rigorous food safety and quality program that is recognized and requested by retailers, brand owners and food service providers world-wide. Endorsed by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI), SQF food safety and quality codes are designed to meet industry, customer and regulatory requirements for all sectors of the food supply chain.
Level 3 is the most comprehensive and difficult level to achieve, and encompasses Good Agricultural Practices (GAPs), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Good Distribution Practices (GDPs), Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) risk assessment and implementation, and finally focuses on food quality as well as safety issues.
